Shakespeare From Scratch
FEATURED CLASSESFeeling creatively stuck? Shakespeare from Scratch is a playful, accessible reset for actors who’ve avoided Shakespeare or felt overwhelmed by it.
Using text work, clown, improvisation, and rhetoric, we’ll explore Shakespeare as active, embodied storytelling — not academic analysis. You’ll leave with practical tools for approaching classical text and renewed confidence in your artistry.
Crutchie Go F*ck Yourself
NEW WORKSCrutchie is left behind when his best friend Jack seeks his destiny in Santa Fe. Through an unfortunate series of events, our friend Crutchie is sexually trafficked to Blunder Valley, to dance in a saloon for nickels. A cryogenically frozen Walt Disney, determined to turn Crutchie’s suffering into a marketable feel-good story, serves as the narrator in this disgusting sequel to the beloved dance musical.
David Copperfield
NEW WORKSBorn into a childhood of bright wonders, young David Copperfield is wrenched into a world of terror as a controlling stepfather shows him how discipline feels in the body. Guardians, tyrants, and runaway donkey carts drive David from London to Dover, to the doorstep of his formidable Aunt Betsey: Patron Saint of Resting B*tch Face. Told through much homosexual pandemonium, a question lingers: how do we look to our past without bitterness—but instead with wonder?
Easter Play
NEW WORKSSet over the course of one disastrous (but contestedly miraculous) weekend, Easter Play follows two aspiring actors and part-time tomb workers in Biblical Jerusalem – hurtling themselves toward Roman Fringe Festival glory amid a rapidly escalating misunderstanding. An accidental resurrection narrative begins to take shape as these two fight for their lives to bag the best director in town – who happens to look a lot like Jesus!
